MARKETING OPERATIONS INTERN
Location: Remote/Hybrid in DC
Position Type: Unpaid Summer Internship
Duration: 25 hours per week for 10-12 weeks, (June–August)
We are seeking a highly motivated and extremely detail-oriented Marketing Operations Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about leveraging technology and data to advance a mission-driven cause. You will play a key role in supporting our digital marketing and advocacy efforts by ensuring our platforms run smoothly and our data is accurate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build skills in email marketing strategy, marketing automation, data management, and digital campaign execution within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Please note that this is an unpaid internship; applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.

Platform Management: Assist with the day-to-day administration of our key marketing platforms, HubSpot and Action Network.
Campaign Support: Support the creation and deployment of email campaigns, landing pages, and forms, ensuring all elements are properly tracked and integrated.
Automation: Assist with building and testing automated workflows and sequences in HubSpot to nurture leads and engage supporters.
Reporting: Help pull and organize data for campaign performance reports, providing insights to the marketing and advocacy teams.
Technical Troubleshooting: Work with the team to identify and resolve technical issues related to our marketing platforms.

A student or recent graduate with a passion for marketing, technology, and social change.
Strong attention to detail and a love for working with data.
A quick learner with a proactive attitude and a desire to solve problems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with marketing concepts is a plus.
Experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, Action Network, or other CRM/marketing automation or email platforms is a huge asset..
