A NEW APPROACH TO POLICY CHANGE

Real policy change is driven by a series of small, technical decisions, not just high-profile moments. We exist to influence those decisions by combining people power with deep expertise in congressional operations and appropriations, engaging at more points in the process than traditional advocacy efforts. We focus on the granular decisions that ultimately determine real outcomes.

Last week, 104 Members of the U.S. House of Representatives, nearly 50% of Democrats, voted for an amendment to strip all U.S. funding for Israel from the annual State Department spending bill. Despite an unprecedented level of support, the amendment still failed, defeated by 314 Members voting against and 10 voting "present".

American support for Israel is at an all-time low, and Americans are demanding an end to unconditional aid. This vote gave Members a chance to put constituents ahead of decades of institutional pressure. The 104 Members who sided with their constituents deserve our thanks. The rest deserve accountability.
