A NEW APPROACH TO POLICY CHANGE
Real policy change is driven by a series of small, technical decisions, not just high-profile moments. We exist to influence those decisions by combining people power with deep expertise in congressional operations and appropriations, engaging at more points in the process than traditional advocacy efforts. We focus on the granular decisions that ultimately determine real outcomes.
HOW WE GET RESULTS
-
We combine insights from grassroots advocates and Capitol Hill to inform smarter, more effective advocacy. Through regular, biweekly sessions, we align strategy, share knowledge, and strengthen two-way connections between communities and experts on the Hill.
-
We translate shared expertise into targeted advocacy, mobilizing constituents and partners to engage decision-makers through strategic, collective action.
-
We keep pressure on Members of Congress by anticipating and engaging at every point in the policy-making process, not just after a Bill has been proposed.
TAKE ACTION NOW.
TAKE ACTION NOW.
TAKE ACTION NOW
For the first time in decades, there’s a real conversation in Washington about scaling back annual military aid to Israel. This week, Congress gets a chance to vote on it.
We have a matter of days to pressure our Representatives in the House to get behind the American people and cut off the multiple billions of dollars the U.S. government provides to the Israeli military annually.
ACTION ARCHIVE
-
We delivered a petition with thousands of signatures to the House Armed Services Committee urging Members to strip military collaboration with Israel from the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
-
Congressional Action Network members called Secretary Rubio, urging him to end negotiations on a new Memorandum of Understanding for U.S. security assistance to Israel.
-
We thanked select members of the House Appropriations Committee who supported critical amendments to align our budget with our values.
-
We urged Members of the House Appropriations Committee to support key amendments related to Israel and Palestine during the full committee markup of the SFOPS bill.
-
Congressional Action Network members submitted amendment requests to their Representatives for inclusion in the State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs (SFOPS) appropriations bill (see here).
If adopted, these amendments would directly shape U.S. foreign assistance, including military funding to Israel, any conditions placed on that funding, and humanitarian aid for Palestinians.
